We call it the 'feel good' section. After all, it's what really matters, isn't it? It's never too early to introduce our children to the concept of giving back. We've pulled together a list of some of our favorite and most appropriate charitable organizations that children might connect with. Why not make a contribution in the name of a loved tween in your life for a special event?

Why we like it: This is a great site with lots of ideas for volunteering, plus links to non-profit organizations in your neighborhood.
Water for People
Why we like it: This site helps people in developing countries develop drinking resources, sanitation facilites and health and hygiene education programs.
Children for Children
Why we like it: This New York City based organization has lists of community service work for your tween.
Books for Africa
Why we like it: Help end the book famine in Africa. We particularly like the "Donate to a Project" option.
