Contests, Promotions, Simulations or Games

Upon submission, all registrations become the exclusive property of TweenParent. Registered users (each, a "Registered User") are permitted only one account. Registered Users with more than one account are subject to immediate disqualification from any Game, unless the description of the Game expressly invites a user to register multiple times. TweenParent, at its sole discretion, may suspend or revoke the registration of any Registered User.

Registered Users agree to release TweenParent and its agents, advertisers, sponsors or promotional partners, from all liability arising from participation in any of Game located on, or accessed through, the Web Site. TweenParent is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit any Registered User's ability to participate in any Game.

Each Registered User agrees to be bound by the rules of any Game and by the rules of fair play and consideration of fellow Registered User. A Registered User who violates any of the rules or guidelines for behavior published on the Web Site, or the site where the Game is conducted, are subject to immediate disqualification and revocation of their registration. Some Games may offer prizes to Registered Users. All prizes are subject to the official game or contest rules published with that Game.

At TweenParent.com we carefully select articles and products that we believe our readers will find interesting and relevant to their lives as parents of preteens. No one can pay to have products or services included in our editorial content. That's what advertising is for. Messages from our advertisers are clearly marked as sponsored e-mails, banner ads or sponsored links on our Web Site or in your TweenParent.com newsletter. The "Shop" section of TweenParent.com gives our readers the opportunity to access interesting products and services. While we screen these links, our reader should be aware that these sites are a source of revenue for TweenParent. While, TweenParent does not take responsibility for products or your experience outside our site, we would like to hear from you if you have a negative or positive experience. Assignment

You shall not transfer, assign, sublicense nor pledge in any manner whatsoever, any of your rights or obligations under this Agreement. TweenParent may transfer, assign, sublicense or pledge in any manner whatsoever, any of its rights and obligations under this agreement to a subsidiary, affiliate, or successor thereof or to any third party whatsoever, without notifying you or receiving your consent.

Miscellaneous

No agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship between you and TweenParent is intended or created by these Terms and Conditions. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. Any heading, caption or paragraph title contained in these Terms and Conditions is inserted only as a matter of convenience and in no way defines or explains any paragraph or provision hereof. Any notifications or other communications that we undertake to send to you hereunder will be deemed conclusively given if sent to the email address submitted as part of your registration with TweenParent. If such email address does not function, TweenParent will have no obligation to send you notifications or other communications by other means, notwithstanding that other contact information for you may be available to us.
