The second layer is a super-thin, highly absorbent liner that holds the power of three tampons or pads. The bottom mesh layer is water-repellent because it is made from recycled nylon. This helps prevent your menstrual blood from flowing into the water around you, as much as it prevents the water from getting in. The bottom layer is also chlorine-resistant and UV50 plus-rated.
